Cost of Surgery
The practice manager will discuss the cost of your procedure with you when you visit Sandhurst Plastic Surgery. In most cases the cost will be spread between Medicare and your private insurance company, with a gap for you to pay depending on the procedure.
Procedures of a purely cosmetic nature are not covered by Medicare or your private health insurer. Our practice manager will discuss with you all the costs associated with what you are having done. In general there is a cost for the following:
- Surgeon’s fee
- Surgical Assistant’s fee
- Anaesthetist’s fee
- Implant fee (where applicable)
- Hospital fee.
Please note, the cost of regular follow-up appointments is covered in your initial payment.
All accounts must be paid in full prior to the day of surgery.
