Shantael Dryden - Patient Care Coordinator
As our Patient Care Coordinator, Shantael is the first friendly face you will see when you visit the practice. Shantael takes the time to answer any and all questions that you may have, in person, over the phone or via email. Shantael is there to assist at every stage of your journey from registration and arrival through to booking surgery and future appointments. Shantael is always cheerful and friendly. Her priority is to ensure that your visit to our clinic is a smooth and pleasant one. She is a perfect fit in our quality focused administration team.
Rylee Mylon - Receptionist
As our receptionist, Rylee is the first friendly face you will see when you visit the practice. Rylee takes the time to answer any and all questions that you may have, in person, over the phone or via email. Rylee is there to assist at every stage of your journey from registration and arrival through to payments and future appointments. Rylee is always cheerful and friendly with her priority to ensure that your visit to our clinic is a smooth and pleasant one. She is a perfect match for our reception team.
Emma Lucas - Accounts Administrator
Emma has a comprehensive knowledge of Day Surgery Hospital and Surgical administration. She brings a strong focus and attention to detail to assisting with accounts and administrative processes. Emma is currently undertaking an undergraduate course in nursing and brings a level of clinical knowledge to this role. Emmas strong work ethic and proactive approach will ensure ongoing success in both clinical and administrative roles
Meagan McKinnon - Receptionist
Meagan is our newest addition to our administrative support team. She has a extensive history in medical reception and joins us from another Specialist Plastic Surgery Practice. We are delighted to have Meagan move to Bendigo and join our team. Her warm friendly manner, attention to detail and patient focus will assist in making her a wonderful addition to front reception.
Jane Sutton - Business Manager
Jane is Business Manager of Sandhurst Plastic Surgery and Sandhurst Hand Therapy.
Jane grew up in the Murray Mallee region and completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 1995 at Lincoln Institute (La Trobe University). Since then she has gained extensive experience in physical and upper limb rehabilitation. Jane has completed further postgraduate education at Derby University (UK) and has recently become a Certified Hand Therapist (USA). Jane has gained considerable business experience from running her own Surgical and Rehabilitation Supplies Agency in South Australia for 8 years before moving to Bendigo to assist in establishing Sandhurst Plastic Surgery and establish and act as Director of Sandhurst Hand Therapy. Jane enjoys working in a business that is focused on continuous improvement.
Kelly Spiteri - Practice Nurse
With over 18 years nursing experience Kelly is equipped with a breadth and depth of clinical knowledge. Postgraduate surgical qualifications ensure an excellent level of clinical care for all of our patients. Kelly's role offers continuity of care guiding patients before surgery, alleviating concerns and sharing experiences, through to post surgery care and support. Kelly has a passion for helping people and a keen eye for facial aesthetics. Her interest in aesthetics and her clinical knowledge enables her to blend the art and science of clinical injectables for optimal results. Kelly prides herself on giving her clients a very natural and youthful look. Kelly regularly attends seminars and workshops to keep conversant of all current trends in the industry. Kelly is well underway to becoming one of Australia's first Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery's first Nurse Practitioner.
Mel Alvarez - Clinic Nurse
Mel is a Registered Nurse who has worked in the regional area for more than 10 years. Prior to moving to Bendigo, Mel worked as a theatre nurse at the Royal Children's Hospital. Currently Mel is also employed at St John of God Hospital as a theatre nurse. Dr Snell is lucky to have Mel assist him in many of his cases at St John of God. He believes that patients benefit from having a team that have a full understanding of the the entire surgical journey. Mel's role at Sandhurst Plastic Surgery is to perform postoperative reviews, liaise with hospitals and assist in procedures.
